ANTs
(Animal Network Toolkit Software)
ANTs is a free open R package for the analysis of animal networks.
We made an effort to provide as many tools from graph theory that will enable users to perform statistical analyses for testing hypotheses.
ANTs is a multi-collaborative project and is meant to continuously evolve.
If you are keen to contribute, you are very welcome!
What it does
ANTs is partially coded in C++ for an optimal computational speed. Among other things, it allows to:
- Measure global, dyadic and nodal network metrics
- Perform data randomization: pre- and post-network (node and link permutations)
- Perform statistical permutation tests as correlation test, t-test, General Linear Model, General Linear Mixed Model, deletion simulation, Matrix TauKr correlations.
Download package
You can download ANT in CRAN mirror or on ANTs GitHub webpage (dev version and source code also available).
